Consumer Reports. From reporting a defective product to researching product safety for you and your family, Consumer Reports aims to give consumers a breadth of product information in an easily searchable forum.

U.S. News & World Report. Search Florida’s hospital and doctor rankings. Offers tips and guidance on obtaining health insurance.

Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Offers information on accident statistics by county and year as well as forms such as satisfaction of judgment, release in full of all claims, and driver exchange of information.

Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. Circuit Court for Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion, and Sumter Counties. Lists all judges, court information, and court forms. Also, provides information on local law libraries, which are free to the public, including one that is located in Ocala, Florida at the Marion County Judicial Center.

Florida Department of State, Laws of Florida. Search legislative database by year for all rules and regulations of Florida. Includes full-text of all laws enacted by the Florida legislature.

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Review tips for safe driving, including bicycles and motorcycles. Lodge complaints for problematic vehicles and review other consumer complaints by year, make, and model of car. Find the right car seat for your child and learn how to properly install and register your car seat.

Florida Board of Medicine. Verify medical practitioner’s license or file a complaint against a doctor. Also provides links to other Florida medical associations and networks as well as to Florida’s health laws and administrative codes.

Florida Safety Council. Offers links to motorcycle training classes, DUI courses, and teen driver education.

Florida Department of Financial Services. Formerly known as the Florida Department of Insurance, this site provides information on insurance fraud, consumer protection, cemetery and burial concerns, financial tools, and resources for seniors.

National Alliance for Grieving Children. A nonprofit organization focused on assisting children and families who have suffered the loss of a loved one. This site offers crisis resources and links to grief support in your local area, including Florida.

Cornell University Law School. Cornell University’s Legal Information Institute has provided free legal resources and information to the public since 1992. Search legal encyclopedias, U.S. Supreme Court cases, and full-text statutes.
